The project’s goal is to create the opportunity for teenagers, from 10 to 16 years old, to improve their skills. Also, provide to the student’s conditions for learning experiences in an environment of free expression and appreciation of human diversity.
The school was founded in 1992 and was the first High School in Itabira, a small town in Minas Gerais state.
The volunteer will assist the English teacher during classes and also develop activities after school. The activities are sports, dance, music, arts or professional’s workshops. Moreover, the volunteer can suggest other activities according to his/her skills and knowledge. He or she will be invited to get involved in the school’s events.

Soft skills and other requirements : The volunteer must have good abilities to deal with teenagers. She/ he should be patient, creative and proactive.
